Rather than focusing on the real issue of a man hitting a woman, Jurgen choose the unfortunate road of going after Sarah while trying to paint Ninah (which he steadfastly refused to identify by name) as an innocent victim. That degenerated into a public condemnation/vindication of Sarah, and the disturbing implication that Ninah is known for not respecting the codes, and she had it coming; and she deserved the beating; and would everyone please shut up and sweep under the rug of shame the real fact that an angry man committed an act that society frowns upon. So, in the context of this incident it is not appropriate to discuss or comment on the victim's behavior, questionable, censurable, unacceptable as it may have been. Walter spelled it out right and simple, Pablo Veron should have and could have found an alternative way of handling the situation other that by slapping, or using any form of physical violence against her. Everyone in the Veron party, particularly vocal Rosa should have defused the problem way before it reached scandalous proportions. If at all, they, as an obsequious lot of sycophants, deserve a public slap in the wrist for their irresponsible behavior.
